Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. Hey all.

I just recently purchased a Lajo eXoflp case for my 4G iPod.

When I finally got it in the mail, I had the hardest time putting it on my iPod. The plastic silicon stuff kept sticking to the iPod and it took alot of force just to push it in and get everything settled.
Now I'm a little uneasy about having to take it off. Not that I have to right now or anytime soon, but whenever the time comes. I doubt it'll be easy is the thing.

So I'm wondering if anyone here knows any tricks to make putting on and taking off plastic silicon cases like the eXoflp easier.
Any help at all would be appreciated.

Wash it in mild dishwashing soap then dry it completely. Rub a little bath powder inside and out, then wipe it all off. Presto!

Will that completely eliminate any "stickiness" on the case, inside and out?

IMO Lajo cases are much easier to take off than put on. You just pull the top of the ipod out first, then take both sides of the case and pull down, turning the case inside out.

i know you're supposed to wipe off the powder, but i would worry that there would be little grains of powder trapped between the skin and the ipod, which would cause a lot of tiny scratching on the ipod. am i just hyperparanoid?

I'm not quite sure but I think a little blast of compressed air will help get it off. it works on handlebars of a bike and the gripping/sticking is similar to the case and the ipod's

I also thought it was really annoying to get on and off at first.

I think over time, it gets easier. I think the way sillicone is right off the line, it's just "stickier".

IMO.
