iTunes recognizes iPod but Win Explorer does not

I've tried searching on this, but apparently I cannot find any info on this. I know that my PC recognizes my iPod. My iTunes recognizes it (I've synched my iPod w/ iTunes for a period of time now). However, I recently enabled disk use, and for some reason my iPod does not appear in explorer/My Computer. My iTunes still recognizes it, yet it doesn't seem (so far at least) that I can use my iPod as a harddrive.

Does anyone have any tips on why I cannot see my iPod? I've resetted, reformatted, etc.

Have you tried opening cmd.exe and looking there by entering
e:<enter>
f:<enter>
and so on?
Maybe you have that drive hidden in Explorer for some reason?
