Best Rugged, Strong, or Metal case for ipod?

Long story short: Had Ipod in pocket, fell flat on it, cracked the screen. Now, I wanna buy a new ipod, but I want a case that will protect my ipod from almost anything. It doesnt have to allow me to control it when its in the case, but it has to be decent size, strong, doesnt harm ipod (some metal cases scratch the ipod up), and under 45.00
