Nice pic Carlin .. I just ordered that same case right now .. nice to see what it will look like.

Are you happy with it?

carlin

ya, i am happy with it. I dont really care, a case is a case. I got over the scratch phobia thing, so i just wanted something that would keep the overall asthetics of the iPod and adequately protect at the same time. The material is nice, and it no longer attracts dust, but at first it did, so i just washed a million f%3#ing times till it was smooth and not tacky anymore. Its nice, and definately worth the 20 bucks i spent at chumpusa!!!

Am I the only one who finds these jam jackets ugly and cheap looking? TO me, they totally ruin the class of the ipod.

I for one agree, the jam jackets are ugly, I am very happy with my iSkin. The latex silcone or whatever it is looks kind of beige in the pictures, where it is raised an molded. I am also not a big fan of the molding, reminds me of the original iSkins.

I like it better than the iSKins. the iSKins attract hella mount of dust and they are too tacky, literally, they are really sticky. I like the jam jacket beacuse it covers the back without that stupid knob for the belt buckle and without the dumb holes(which do nothing for the heat release). ANd it IS NOT BEIGE, it is really white frosted, my camera tooka bad pic. I like mine, and it is way better than the iSkin for many reasons.

Chill out! talk about getting your back up. You have your opinion I have mine.

Sorry the pictures looked beige I was just saying what I sawl. As for the stickiness I have two iSkin products the exo and the protouch and neither are sticky. If it is sticky when you get it, wash it, it washes away with soap and water, as does the dust. And the holes, heh, them there are speed holes.

ah yes I am boohoo, I'm gonna go tell my mommy on you.

lame

Mike

P.S. getting your back up = "stupid knob" , "dumb holes" , "IS NOT BEIGE" (yelling)

sorry, but jam jackets are superior to EXOS.

1. easy access to the hold button
2. much easier to get in and out
3. better way of docking (instead of pulling the EXO back behind the ipod which will compromise the fit after long periods of time, the jam jacket simply slides off.
4. no ulgy holes on the back (yes, they do nothing on your EXO).

Was wondering when you would jump in here torch, heh. It's all good both cases have their pros and cons, say what you will about the exo, I really don't care. I have a DLO action jacket, and I love it so I don't dispute that DLO can build a nice case (however, I still think the jam jacket is ugly that opinion hasn't changed)

There are few things I don't agree with here.

1. I don't think the exo makes the hold button hard to use, all you do is push the silicone with the tip of your finger and it stretches.
2. I have taken my iPod out of the iSkin many times to show people and it comes out very easily IMHO, the silicone stretches and my Ipod comes out much like a banana from its peel
3. Maybe I am lazy but I rarely take my pod out of its case, I just connect the wire to the bottom. I don't really see how the jam jacket has a better way of docking since you are physically removing the iPod from the case. Also how do you know what the long term effects of stretching the iSkin are?
4. Who cares about the holes in the back? I think they look cool, but honeslty how often do you stare at the back of your iPod case? if it is quite often then yes you should probably not buy the iSkin exo :p

I just want to point out that I have not commented on how the jam jacket works, because I don't own one and haven't used one. If you haven't used the exo then how can you claim that it is a sub par product?

1. ok, so it takes a little extra work.
2. not as easy as it is with a jam jacket.
3. yea, cuz it takes a lot of work. it's a lot easier to simply slide the ipod out of the jam jacket, than it is to peel back the exo behind the ipod. it's silicone, it's strechtable, it WILL retain a memory if left in that position for long periods of time.
4. although the holes on the back are kinda ugly, that's besides the point. the problem with the holes are that it lets debris get to the ipod and scratch up the back. albeit, the jam jacket DOES expose the ipod ontop, however that's much less susceptable to scratching if upright.
