4G iPod on Win 98SE, what's the definitive answer?

I'll be getting a 4G iPod soon but will want to use it on my parents P.C. while there over Christmas. However their P.C. runs on Win 98SE. I read the sticky about getting the other generation iPods running on 98 but howabout the latest incarnation ?

So what do I have to do to get it running on their P.C. ? And am I right in saying that iTunes will not work anyay ?

New iPods have to be initialized under Windows 2000/XP. The hack with old updater doesn't work anymore.
After that you can use 4G iPods under Windows 98.
