Reconnect to Ipod w/o Unplugging and Plugging Back In?

Subject line pretty much says it all!

Is it possible to reconnect to the ipod after you've done an "eject"? The only way I've seen to do it is to physically unplug the cable from the USB port and plug it back so Windows recognizes it again.

I'm using anapod if that makes any difference - I noticed a couple of options in there that I'll probably play around with...

I'm pretty sure it's not possible. It's the same thing with all hard drives.
