eXo messing up iPod?

I have the eXo, and soon after I got it, the select button on my iPod started acting up. Sometimes the button just stopped working, and it took a few resets to get it back to normal. I contacted Apple about this problem and sent it to them to be fixed. They returned it saying there was nothing wrong with it, but it still has the same problem.

Does anyone know if the eXo caused this? Perhaps it's too tight? I think I'm going to need to get a new iPod, hopefully Apple will supply one.

it definitely has nothing to do with the iSkin...i've had my iskin for a week now, and nothing like that has happened
