I have two albums that I purchased from the Real One music store when they first opened up and were selling them for cheap. At that time I was using my Nomad Zen MP3 player. Now that I have an iPod I would like to be able to transfer those tracks to it (it can be done) without having to re-rip a burned CD.
If I have the iPod sync set to manual this is not a problem. However, I have it set to sync selected playlists. When I use the Real software to transfer the tracks to the iPod, the next sync with iTunes wipes them out.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Don't auto sync with iTunes if the songs are not in the library that are on the iPod. To sync the iPod with iTunes you need to make sure that the libraries match exactly. So transfer the songs into the iTunes library via the CD you burned so that you can auto sync the iPod.

Or just keep the iPod on manual.

Well, I was trying to avoid having to re-encode the songs. I know the Real format is fairly high quality, but still.

Oh well, I gotta do what I gotta do.

Thanks.
