local stores are sold out and apple store online is bull

just my opinion but shouldn't you get one brand spankin new since its for your g/f...and you can always use the education discount if apple supports your school so it would be 229 plus tax.

because if I bought an ipod locally (cant though because they are sold out) it comes to something like 265 after tax

I could just do that myself
Its just stupid that I have to pay sales tax on the online store so if I order it, it comes to like 15 dollars more which is what i'm trying to avoid.

Dude use the student discount and it'll be a lot under 260 even with tax.
