You can get the Shure E2c's, which regulary cost you $99 at the MSRP for around $61 after the discount from www.buy.com. From what I've heard they are great entry level, budget audiophile earphones..
Good luck,

I am very happy with the Apple In-Ear headphones. They're comfy, bass is perfect, treble is perfect, good all around sound..
Then again a lot of people would disagree with me.
You can also get Sony EX71's, or 81's

They aren't the worst from what I've heard, but neither the Apple's not Sony's can compare to the Shures especially at such a great price..

Yeah I got my Sony EX71 just b4 they went on sale I got them off of ebay so i can't bring them back. They work great but for the extra $10 or $15 I would have to pay to get the Shure E2c's I would go with those.

How about affordable non-earbud headphones? The Apple earbuds just don't work for me as my ears don't seem to be compatible (ie, they fall out easily and are not comfortable).

Sony MDR-E888SP (http://www.igearbox.com/product_info.php?cPath=45_26&products_id=50) Audio-Technica ATH-CM5 (http://www.igearbox.com/product_info.php?cPath=45_26&products_id=51)
They can produce better sound quaility than in-ear headphones. Better Music Enjoyment!!!!!! Simply the best under $70

i second with the fact that Shure E2c's are the way to go. i currently have the apple in ear and i feel they are simply ok. the bass i think is poor, too much treble. not very happy with them, so i went and bought the shure e2 last night from amazon for 60. good deal.

Shure put more effort into how their product sounds, not how it looks.

I think the E2 are good for isolation, but not for sound quaility.

a lot of people disagree with that ^^^
I'm going to get the e3cs pretty soon, though. the step up is supposed to be pretty big. and buy.com has a great deal.. 125.99 with free shipping. :)

according to the ipodlounge reviews the sony 70's and the shure e2c's have similiar sound quality. and then in the 81 review they say that the 81's are better than the 70's/71's which means they are as good or better than the shure e2c's. plus the 81's are cool lookin and have the ear clip. so...the sony ex81's.

Getting the e3s will be a great idea, the e2s aren't worth the money.
