Hi.
Question: How much space do the photos need on the iPod photo. I mean, since they are not stored in the original size. Let's say I got 10 GB of pictures on my computer, how much space would that be on an IPod photo?
Thanks.

I presume it depends on picture size - if they are all at the standard size needed for the iPod photo then they don't need to be resized and will take up the same ammount of space. At the other extreme you could have one very big 10GB photo that would be resized down to only a few kilobytes, so it depends on how many photos you have.
I think this is right, but if not I'm sorry

Actually, in doing some research and testing, I discovered that each photo on the iPod takes up exactly 776kb (or 794,040 bytes), regardless of the size of the original source photo.
So, assuming you're not storing the full resolution photos (there is an option to do that), then you can determine how much space will be taken up on your iPod simply by multiplying the number of photos you plan to sync by 776kb (plus a few extra Mb for the photo database itself).
It's not very efficient in terms of photo storage, but you also have to keep in mind that iTunes is creating multiple resized versions of the photos... One for the thumbnail view, one for the iPod screen, and one for the TV output. In fact, I think it may even be storing separate versions for NTSC and PAL TV output, which would bring us to a total of four copies of each image.
