Anyone come across this?
60GB iPhoto has problems trying to play from very large playlists or the full library accessed via SONGS in the menu - in fact doesn't play.
From MUSIC>Playlists, artists, albums I can play OK. When I try SHUFFLE SONGS, or MUSIC>SONGS and then play, the iPod seems to struggle with the volume/capacity, can't make it, then clicks back to the MUSIC MENU, or resets itself.
I tried putting the whole library (presently over 16,000 songs=40GB) in a playlist as other playlists with smaller capacity works fine - same problem. I also can't reset the device myself. I managed twice, and this allowed me to actually get to the full library and play, but it takes 20-30 seconds before getting to the first song. Haven't been able to reset at all since though.
I've restored a few times using iPod Updater and started again - same problem. I have to ship it back to Apple today for repair which means, because it's personalised, I'll be without it for weeks.
