Gift Center: 12 book credits for $99

On offer at Audible.com is to buy a gift for someone: 12 book credits for $99.

Does anyone know whether an Audible member can buy such a gift *for himself* ??

I don't see any reason why you couldn't. However, if you were gonna do that, you might be even better off to just join the UltimateListener Plan.

You get 12 books for $120, plus then you get 20% discount on all other purchases including periodicals and subscriptions. You can use the 12 credits for more expensive books and purchase the less expensive stuff ala carte and take the disount. It really works out quite nicely if you are a heavy listener.

Well I tried it and it works OK, puts the 12 credits into a separate section (Sampler Balance), but they work in the same way. as normal book credits.

I am already a member of UltimateListener (due to renew next May); so I am still getting the chance to use a sampler balance credit or else pay and get 20% off, just as before.

The 12 credits for $99 is not a bad deal!!
