Ijust took delivery of 2004 Toyota Highlander with the JBL sound system. Has anyone here wired a Highlander for their iPod? I'm just looking for an adapter cable similar to the Ai Net cable for Alpine that fits the Highlander HU. I replaced the HU's on my other two vehicles with Alpine units, but would prefer to leave the stock unit in the Highlander for now, so I am just looking for the adapter cable.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Russ

There's no adapter cable, you need an auxiliary input module like this one (http://www.discountcarstereo.com/detail.aspx?ID=548) since you're sticking with the stock HU.

Thanks, have you used it? Does it color the sound at all?

I don't have a Highlander but I do have a PIE module installed in my car. An aux module is the best solution that you can get.

I used the PIE Toyota module in my Highlander. It works great. Thanks for all the help.
