Has anyone whose been using these faced any discomfort in terms of fitting. I've had these for a few days now and I cant quite get the hang of em. I started out with the mediums which proved to be a bit too pushy so i switchted to small. After I did that there was no bass at all so I took up the mediums again.

How do you know when you have the correct fitting? Is it when you can hear the bass best or how your inner ear feels?

It's when you find the best possible match between comfort and sound. These are generally known to be one of the most comfortable in-ear earphones around. Once you find a fit (which shouldn't be difficult) you will notice that it is difficult to even notice they are there... It may take a bit to get used to from other styles or ear/headphones, so patience is the key..

If when you do a big fake smile, it all of the sudden sounds good, then you know you have to play around a bit more. Also the better the seal, the less you will notice the outside world.

I have the ex-51's (same thing basically) and the medium's fit me perfectly. Sadly, I lost one of the medium ones and now have to use the large ones.

Just play around with them for a while, like the others said. And if you find out that the medium inserts arent for you, then please please PLEASE let me trade the ones that do fit you for your mediums. :)

Good luck! Theyre great earbuds.

When I first tried on my EX71 I had the same feeling, switched to the small ones but then it didn't sound as good, so I'm back to the original/default rubbers.

it took me a few times to get used to them, but the sound it produces is amazing for this price. oh yeah, do any of you guys hear your own footsteps through the buds D= it kinda freaks me out.
