How is the sound from the Apple Remote + Earphones? Is it better than the stock earphones that come with the iPod? If not what earphones would you guys recommend?

It is the stock earphones, thrown in with the remote.
Is you budget the $39 price tag for these?
If it is look at the Apple in-ears or the Sony EX71s.
