E5c people with 4th gen ipod try this

Try using the rock / latin EQ setting... brings the sound stage so much closer.. at least for me.. I thought some of my songs sounded a bit distant ... Wow now so much better. Maybe this is obvious to some but i always thought the EQ sucked, well not on this 4th gen ipod with the e5c's , i dont hear any distortion, sounds great. Anyone else use this preset?

i also have a 4g ipod + shure E5c's but i use the reduce treble EQ. Try it, the vocals will sound much better.

hi just tried the reduced treble eq MMMM! sounds nice, trying to increase the bass on already bass heavy tracks justs distorts, but didn't think laterally , reduce treble instead which to my ears seems to bring the bass more upfront. i agree choosing latin brings the stage more upfront but on my main music choices seemed to distort the bass also,on some tracks and found myself switching eq on off on off. nice to experiment though isn't it!!, thats what musics meant to be fun .cheers steve
