I thought I would have more about this thing, but here it is:

Looks like I will be buying this FM transmitter. Looks like they're shipping already, too.
Sounds like every other FM transmitter on the market to me, great if you find a clear frequency and don't move, crap if you actual try to drive with it connected.

The original iCarPlay only lets you select a handful of stations to transmit, this one lets you select any station (except for two).

I also want to know more about this product. There is very little info out there about this new one with all the stations.

Not entirely true.
Yes you need a free clear frequency, but I drove 200 miles yesterday and my iTrip did not miss a beat.

Hey, I actually picked this thing up. it works well but the sound quality still isn't totally there.

I ended up buying one. It works pretty well. I even think it sounds pretty good. I am getting some noise from teh alternator though I think. My only complaint with the icarplay is that it seems to be stronger on one stereo chanel than the other. I think I will take it back and exchange it for another of the same model.

As i said I bought an iTrip and am more than happy with it.
