iPod photo Calendar Function

Does anyone know how I can use the Calendar function on the iPod photo? I am a Windows user and from what I can find on the web (i.e. Apple's support site), it looks like you can only Calendar with a Mac using iSync...Is this true? Is there an alternative for PC users?
