I have read that when using the Neo iOn to control your Ipod through your stock deck, that the volume output is significantly lower than the cd changer or radio. For those who have used the Neo iON, is the volume output really bad (do you have to crank up the volume all the way to hear it or is the problem not really that serious)??? Thanks

I have read this too, but some people don't have the problem at all. It may be a car model or headunit-specific problem. I am getting it installed in my Honda S2000 next week, and will let you know whether it's an issue.

One possible fix may be to increase the volume adjustment in the ID3 tags of your whole library. [This is only practical if you generally dont' mess with this feature, since you will lose your custom volume settings.] In iTunes, select all the songs in your library, and select File > Get Info. A "Multiple Song Information" dialog comes up and move the slider in the bottom left to "+100%". The iPod should increase the volume to the line out accordingly. The main drawback is that you have to do this to your library pretty regularly as you add new music, or . I'll try this if I have a problem with the Neo's volume and let you know if it works.

Hey bluedevil34 - any update? I'm down to two connections and the Neo iON is one of them. Just want to see if you're enjoying it.

Thanks
