Does anyone know what the buffer size is for the 4G iPod Photo? Is there a difference in the buffer size between the 40GB & 60GB iPod photo models?

That depends on the encoding, the 17 minutes is based on 128 encoding with the AAC codec.

so then if it's 17 minutes based on 128 kbps encoding, that roughly equals 16MB of buffer size...17 minutes is roughly 4 songs at 4 minutes each, thus 16MB...I thought 32MB sounded a little high...
