Hi, I just got my replacement ipod photo 40gb and I noticed that where the white front faceplate is attached to the silver back, it isn't a nice, smooth seam. Instead, it is rather rough and the front sticks out a hair more than the back. It is by no means a huge problem but I don't remember this about my original. Has this happened to anyone else?
My front plate on my 60gb seems "normal" i.e. no real overlap to speak of. Personally I prefer the squared look of my 2gen 10gb...

Good seam over here on my week old 60g ipod photo, only thing I remember is that there was a long piece of white plastic along the seam of the rightside as thick as a hair. Not really groundbreaking news, but thats it.
If I were u, i would just mail apple about this situation, see what they say about it.
