Sony ex71s or ex81s [Archive]

Hi
I'm looking into buying the Sony ex71s or ex81s. At audiocubes.com, the ex81s are $64USD including shipping and the ex71s are $55USD. I've heard that the ex81s have better sound quality than the ex71s, but I'm a little sceptical about the ear clip. BTW do you think I should get black or white?

Can you help me out on which earbuds to buy and why?

I have had white 71's for a couple months, sweet buds, no doubt.

I would not get a clip, but the 71's do have a tendency to fall out of your ears , especialy if you cant get one of the three sizes of rubbers to fit perfectly.

I would buy them again, only white, but I they make me want more, I am trying to get into some shures.

Thanks, but buy.com doesn't ship to Canada... Most of my music is encoded in AAC 128 kbps. Is this high enough quality to be able to use with expensive earbuds without crackling?

I guess, but i don't recommend it.

I will also be using 128 - VBR mp3 on these, so they better sound alright for those. lol.

there is a dutch buyit now auction for 5 sets but 4 are sold out, i got the 2nd last set...

So, I've decided on getting the ex71s, because the earclip on the ex81s would drive me crazy. I'm thinking about buying them from warehouse123.com. Are they reliable?

I just ordered my black 71s from www.ecost.com turned out to be 64$ canadian, not a bad price:)

Highly recommend them because they delivered my ex81 in a very fast manner and have very good customer service. Their site is also very easy to look around in. :D

Update: So, I'm either going to buy the Sony ex71's or the Shure e2c's.

I can get the ex71's at www.warehouse123.com for $43.37 USD including shipping.

I can get the e2c's at http://store.yahoo.com/earplugstore for $88.50 USD including shipping.

Which ones should I buy?

I just bought the Shure e2c's from http://store.yahoo.com/earplugstore with the coupon code E2. I paid $88.50 USD in total! The e2c's are going to be awesome!

Get the EX71!!! Save the different for future upgrade!!!!:D
