Which do you think is easier to use? An iPod hard wired to the Aux input of a head unit (you set the HU to aux and control the music throught the iPod). Or something along the lines of an Ice>link or aux pod setup (where you control the music through your HU). And the head unit in question isn't really fancy with multiple lines of text.
Trying to decide what to do!

IceLink/Aux Pod/neo Ion, especially if your car has steering wheel controls.

Ipod is tough to read while driving...but still I would rather have the ipod in my hand. and if you cant read all the info...forget abbout it.
I guess it owuld be nice and neat to have it elsewhere stowed properly...but I also dont know much about icelink and how well you could browse on a cruddy tuner.

well I have 2000 Mustang and Ice>link and all others like it are only compatible with 2001+ Mustangs... Darn. Are all of those type products compatible with just about any aftermarket HU? If I do go that route what is the best? Neo? Ice>Link? Alpine's unit?
I just know if I get an aftermarket HU it will not be an expensive one and probably have only one line of text, it just seems navigating through all my songs would be cumbersome... anyone have good experiences with either?
