hi! i am new to ipodlounge and new to ipods (mine is in the mail yet). i have searched the forum for this question but didn't see any conversations on the subject so hopefully i'm not being redundant--
i'm getting a 4g 20gb ipod, and i'd been told that going to charge your ipod when the battery is only a little bit used up (e.g. charging it when it's only down to 70% or something) would somehow stress the ipod battery, like overusing the first part of the battery or something? maybe this is crazy talk. but my question is, is the icarplay always charging when it's plugged in, is there any adverse effect on the ipod/battery from getting in the car and hooking up to play/charge when the battery is not generally in need of a charge?
hope this question makes sense-- thanks in advance for any advice!
