problems using the ipod on manual sync, not showing artwork

everything was fine, till my itunes's database was damaged, then i need to make my ipod manual sync, since then it has been showing no artwork, any tips?, the sucky part i havent been on my main mac, to try to fix the problem, but i used my laptop and got error 2003 for some reason.

You might want to make sure that the "Display Album Artwork on your iPod" is actually set in iTunes.

It's not on by default, so if you're using a newly-installed copy of iTunes, that option would be turned off, and would probably still apply the setting to your iPod, even in manual mode.

already tried all you said, its not like im a ipod newbie, but i think this is a bug with the iPod.

A simple solution to your problem is that reload your artwork onto your ipod. Dock it up and select all songs from a album highlight them and put in itunes and drag the artwork into the artwork box in the right. Then click file and update ipod just to make sure. And then eject and try the songs you uploaded artwork to.

Trust me this will work as i had the same problem with my ipod photo.
