Correct. Screen protectors are not yet available. Both iSkin.com and Thinkdifferentstore.com are shipping available iSkin eXo colors without them. The screen protectors will be shipping when they are available later this month.

I know that the iSkins have been shipping without the screen protector, but i've read a bunch of times that the screen protectors are being manufactured and would be shipped starting this week so I'm just making sure.

I'll have to back up IlIlIlIlIl on this one; there is a lot of discussion about "soon"; for instance, iskin.com said on August 1, 2003: "Screen protectors are sucessfully being manufactured and will be shipped from our factory as soon as possible." It's been a week, so it was a reasonable question.
