Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. I am very close to buying a Head-unit for my car and hooking up my iPod to it. The Alpine KCA-420i seems to be my best option. I have the stock head-unit in my car now and I need to upgrade that no questions asked. I also want the head-unit to be able to play cd's.
I was looking at the CDA-9827 but now the CDA-9830 is on sale at crutchfield so I think I will get that one. The question is, does this have a CD player in it? When I look at these pictures (http://akamaipix.crutchfield.com/products/2004/500/x500CDA9830-f.jpeg) I dont see a slot for the CD to go in. Am I missing something? Also how hard would the whole thing to be installed? My dad is a mechanic and has installed 6 disc cd changers before so he thinks he can help tackle this. Thanks for anyones help
