Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. Here is my rant after scanning these boards to find opinions on earbuds.

If it is really important for you to have white earbuds, you are a complete Tool.

Some people actually consider it more important than the quality of the sound coming out of them!

You are a poseur and a geek if it is actually important to you that people know that you have an ipod. Look at me! Look at me!

Since this topic has been discussed numerous times (and in a calm, rational manner), can we all agree not to respond to such blatant trolling and let this thread die before a worthless flame war erupts?

maybe he owned white earphones, got mugged and got his ipod stolen. now he just needs a channel to vent ;)

I usually stick to black or silver or in the case of the E5, 'hearing aid clear'...
... and I have been known to get Wood (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v322/rokuyon/2002pset.jpg) :D (Hokkaido Asadazakura wood with Echizen lacquer in fact)


Actually on reflection many of my phones look even more toolish than white phones, but I do think the whole white phone thing has gotten out of hand.

eh, I like my white buds, I'm not a tool and I'm not trying to get people to notice that I have an ipod, I just use them because I can, my two cents
