I am thinking about getting a new 4th gen Ipod and a Alpine head unit for my Vauxhall Corsa. I want to obviosuly use the Ipod in car and get a Alpine head unit. I have a couple of small questiones.

1) Can i use my steering wheel controls, how hard is it to set them up?

2) Is it worth waiting for the Alpine 2005 range as i read these are going to be better to use with the Ipods?

3) Which of the current Alpine range is best to use with the Ipods?

4) Which is the best adapter to use with the set up i want to get?

Cheers
Andy

I believe you can get one of these for your steering wheel controls. http://www.pac-audio.com/products/swi.htm

1) What briand805 wrote, but I've heard that it's a PITA to set up, but gratifying once done.

2) If that's true, wait for the 2005s.

3) The best? CDA-9835 or either of the IVAD models.

4) You'll need the KCA-4201 at the very least.
