I've been looking at the market for a iPod 4G case.

I know this question has been answered millions of times but none of them really answered my specific needs. These are my needs:

- What I need is a case or skin that doesn't take away from the iPod's looks. Basically a white or clear case.

- I want the skin to be high quality so it won't be damaged too easily.

- I don't care about a belt clip at ALL...i just want a case that will fit in my pocket.

- I don't want the case to be too thick...yet not too filmsy

- Screen protection is a must!

- I will be getting a FM transmitter so it would be nice if the iTrip would fit on the case

- I want the dock connecter covered but accessible (may or may not be getting a dock)

That pretty much wraps it all up. Thanks for all your help!

I would suggest an iSkin Evo 2 in either Arctic or Ghost ... my friend has one of those, and he's been enjoying it immensely. That's just my opinion though, since I soon will be a fellow iSkin user. Check out iskin.com for more info on those particular cases. :)

Lajo also makes cases of varying thicknesses to suit people's needs. If you have a 4G, you will likely enjoy the exo3x skins, either in Ice (the clearest) or in Snow (white). You can purchase an iShade for screen protection for only a little bit more. Also, Lajo has some great Thanksgiving deals coming up, such as 50% off all items, or certain purchases can get you a few freebies thrown in there.

If you like hard cases, you might consider either a Speck Flipstand or maybe a Showcase iSee. Both are totally clear.
