Have you ever needed to return your iPod or has something ever gone wrong with it? I have been reading alot of posts about peoples ipod's breaking, needed to be sent back for warrenty, ect. I want to know what percentage of iPod's break.

Would this include the remote/earbuds?

no I'm thinking just the ipod. remote and stuff can be replaced for a cost no where near the replacement of the ipod

I think you see a lot of posts regarding breaks and trouble because this is where people come when they're having problems with their iPods, but I think the problematic ones are only a small cross section of the general iPod owning population.

yeah i was reading the warenty fourm and thinking "god everyones ipod has problems" but i think it is just because people post their problems there. I've never seen a post that says " Hey, My ipod works fine"
