iPod photo Text Scrolling?

I was playing w/my new iPod photo last night and noticed something that I'm not sure is right or is the way it's supposed to be.

If I'm viewing the Now Playing screen, which shows song/artist/album info, it seems that if any of these fields are longer than the screen, they won't scroll. Is it supposed to be this way? Every other MP3 player I've owned scrolls the information if it's too long to fit on the screen. But the weird thing is that this info WILL scroll if I'm viewing it outside of the Now Playing screen (i.e. in the list of artists/albums/songs.

Do I have a defective unit?

My Now Playing screen scrolls the song title only. The album or band name don't scroll.

I've got a 60GB unit.

thanks...upon further observation, it looks like the song title does in fact scroll on my iPod too. Can't understand why the other fields won't scroll though...kinda stupid, IMHO.
