Cheapest place to get a black Showcase?

Is there anywhere cheaper than Contour's website where I can order a Showcase?

I decided to get a black Contour Showcase for my 40gig 4G (since I've heard white ones get dirty very quickly). However, the only ones I can find in stores are the white ones. I've tried two Apple Stores and one Fry's Electronics to no avail. Can anyone help me out?

I bought mine on eBay (seller was applelinks). It costs USD29.99 + $5 s/h to Canada ($4 to US).

I just bought a white one from Chumbo.com for about $30 including overnight shipping. They had the black one in stock as well. There's no picture, but make sure you look for the model that has "4G" on the end. Chumbo doesn't have that great of reseller ratings, but their pricegrabber ratings are excellent.

Okay, I just ordered from beachaudio via Amazon.com. It ended up costing $30 and change. When I receive it I'll post an update and give my approval/disapproval regarding the vender.

I just received my Showcase today. I was amazed at how quickly I received it (ordered on Wednesday, arrived on Friday), especially since I just did standard UPS Ground shipping. I highly recommend beachaudio; I got my black Showcase for $30.56 and the whole process couldn't have gone any smoother.

How were you able to communicate to them that you wanted the black instead of the white?

I didn't, actually. I just added it to my cart and checked the description and it said "SHOWCASE 4G BLACK", so I figured I had selected the right one. It's a little chancy but it worked out for me.

I'm canadian, got it from www.thinkdifferentstore.com . very easy, fast, relatively cheap shipping, no taxes i had to pay, etc.

and the black is sexy as hell.

Mind sharing the amount of shipping you paid, shipping time, and your city? I'm thinking about ordering from them but want to know more about their shipping to Canada before actually giving them my info and money :). Thanks!

I'm in london ontario.

The total, including shipping, was $34.35 USD.

I paid no extra taxes - i asked it to be labeled as a 5 dollar gift, i dont know if that influenced it, but i paid not a cent on top of the order + shipping, which is the total you see above. Didnt take too long to come either.

It doesn't specify if it's black or white, but you can call them to make sure.

I'm going to pick one up in store when my 4G arrives.

FYI, J&R is a huge electronics store in NYC. Never ordered from them online though.

I believe Macmall.com does, but you'll have to call them to place an order and they don't list their shipping method and price on their website. Btw any reason for not choosing thinkdifferentstore?

Thinkdifferent's shipping to Argentina is around $30, so I was wondering if there were any other alternatives.

Yeah, international shipping can get quite pricey especially most retailers will only ship internationally by courier for tracking purposes. Think Different Store quoted UPS shipping price to Canada at over $40, luckily they'll ship here using the much cheaper USPS method (less than $5). But unfortunately USPS isn't an option outside Canada/US.

The Apple Store has the black Showcase for 19.95. You have to search for it. I imagine it's a mistake that they'll eventually correct, but they just shipped mine for that price, so get 'em while they're hot!
