I just got a Speck Products Skin Tight iPod case from a friend. He said that he didn't like it because it got dirty (i.e. pocket lint) very quickly. Is there any way to easily prevent this? And when it happens, what's the best way to clean it off? Someone in a previous thread mentioned either using tape or washing it... What would you wash it with?

I washed mine in mild dish detergent, then powdered it with some unscented bath powder and then wiped it down to get all the extra powder off. The powder makes it easier to put the case on and it keeps stuff from sticking. Repeat as needed.

For the inevitable stuff that sticks to it, I just lift it off with tape.

Thanks... haha... I almost thought you were joking about the bath powder...

Talking to my dad on the phone the other day, he said he just throws his in the dishwasher... LOL!
