Does anybody else feel that HP is doing a better job for advertising the HP iPod than Apple is doing for advertising their iPod. Since I have first seen an iPod commercial, maybe...6-9 months ago, I can honestly say I have only seen maybe...10-15 tv commercials. Since the 4g iPod+HP came out, I can honestly say I have seen 20 or maybe more. I watch TV too, i just dont tune in for 5 minutes, then turn it off. I also see HP advertising digital camera commercials, and their products.
I understand that HP is a bigger company with more money to spend on advertisement, and sure Apple gets money for every iPod HP sells for them, but dont you think that is weird? Does Apple think that creating a joint venture with HP will make their products as a whole sell more? I think the opposite. Once people find out(im sure many people know already though) that the iPod is compatible with macintosh computers as well as PCs, they think "hey, why should i switch to mac when the iPod works for the PC as well?" I know the iPod has created a change of personal computing for many people. People switch to macs because they think(im trying to be the least biased when using the word "think") their new apple-macintosh computer will work the same(which again, i dont mean any sort of bias towards that last statement.)
Just my thoughts, what do you all think?

i know, and apple still has strong correlation with the iPod, since it is THEIR PRODUCT. That comment though hardly answered any question related to the forum topic.
