Okay, so I just bought my iPod 4th Generation 20 gig yesterday and I'm loving it.
I'm just wondering what hacks, tricks, add-ons, accessories, etc. that I should get?
What are the coolest software hacks/add-ons?
Fill me in! :)

there are no "add-ons", per se. The firmware is pretty tightly closed. The most you can do is make use of firmware features already present. For instance, there are programs that will automatically put RSS feeds, song lyrics, movie times, weather forecasts, etc. in the Notes folder of your iPod.
Pod2Go is one such Mac program that will do that. I know there are some fro PC, I just don't know their names.

On iPodlounge's main menus up at the top, you can click on Downloads and select the appropriate OS. You can find a whole bunch of cool little programs that can increase functionality of your iPod.
If you use Windows, I would recommend the little app SharePod. It works right from your iPod's hdd and you always have a way of getting things from your iPod back to your PC without iTunes. It's really come in handy for me. I also use it to track down individual songs and their appropriate folders which ordinarily are hard to find with iPod's strange system for putting mp3s into folders.
