Find "Artist" on IPOD

Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. Is there a quick way to find an artist on the IPOD? For instance, if I want to play Suzi Quatro, do I have to scroll and scroll and scroll until I get to her way down near the bottom of my artists, or is there a quick way to get to the "Q" and then choose her?

The scroll wheel get's progressively faster as you continue to spin your finger making it easy to scroll through a large library quickly, you just have to get adept at it.

At this time no quick way to get to the Q's. You just have to scroll quick. I make playlists for my favorite artists for quicker access.

You will also have to actually go to S.

Unless you painstakingly re-tag your songs to make the artist name use the Lastname, Firstname format as I did. (Fortunately, many of my songs are by groups rather than individuals, which made this task a little less daunting.

OK, OK, I want to get to the S's quickly, not the Q's :)

With my first two MP3 players, I could choose the letter I wanted and then go straight to those artists. I've been trying and trying to figure a way to do it, now I know I can't, I'll just scroll...
