Hi,

ok i've just purchased my brand new 40gb ipod and have just realised when i've read the manual that you need either windows 2000 with SP4 or XP home or pro editions to get it up and running, my question(s) are these.

1. can i get it up and running using 98se

2. how do i do this.

sorry but the sticky above is a bit confusing so could someone please explain in basic terms.

i do have usb 2.0

thanx for all your help :)

Windows ME has mass storage drive built-in so you don't need USB driver. Other than that, Windows 98 SE and Windows ME support for iPod is the same.
