hey i was just wondering if this cable is in sold in you know, regular electronic stores like best buy or circuit city? I'm planning on looking tomorrow but im just want to get a heads up before i go off searching all over town for it. and as an added and kinda off topic bonus, is there any way to tell whether you have usb 1.1 or usb 2.0?

Not too sure if regular stores carry it but when I was in the USA best buy etc. did not have it. I ended up going to the apple store in tysons corner washington to get my accessories. I got my ipod bought for me when I was on holiday in the states.
As to the USB, if the computer is older than about a year, then it probably won't have it. <MOst newer computers have it as standard. You could check the specs of your computer on the makers website
