Hey everybody....disconnected my ipod safely, but when I started it, I got the folder exclamation symbol! Please tell me what this means and how to solve it!

Looking at the other thread you posted, does this mean that you connected the iPod to your computer via Firewire, and then formatted it using Win98SE?
I'm afraid to say that I can't really help you other than to suggest a reset. If that doesn't work, you could try a restore. Other than that, I can't help you :( Hopefully, the iPod gurus in this forum can help out.

Do a restore, that's the only way to fix it. Connect the iPod, run the Updater (Start>Programs>iPod>Updater) and click on the "restore" button.
