View Full Version : ipod will not "RESET"...HELP!

This new 15g ipod has been nothing but problems since the day I bought it. Now its stuck on the "DO NOT DISCON." screen & will not do anything! I can't even RESET the ipod. PLEASE HELP!!!

Have you tried a reset w/the iPod connected to the AC Adaptor?
If that doesn't work, try a restore w/the iPod Updater program.

ARRRGGGHHH!!!!!!!
I can't even reset it (holding all 4 buttons) even when its plugged into the wall. The just keeps flashing "DO NOT DISCON."
PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP!!!!!!

I would love to hear the answer for this one, as I have the same problem.....
Can't reset the iPod, Windows won't recognize it, Ipod Manager and Updater don't see it. How the heck can this get fixed?

A reset isn't all four buttons, it's just Menu + Pause/Play. That's 2 buttons. Did you try it w/it connected to the AC adaptor?
Hold it for like 20-30 seconds.
