Ok, so I have read it everywhere. There is no hope for us who have Win98 SE and USB 1.1 ports and the new iPod.
We either upgrade the OS or buy a USB 2.0/firewire card.
Well, I'm not ready to give up. I am looking for USB drivers - possibly .inf files from someone who has installed the USB 2.0 iPod drivers on Win ME. Please, please post these if you have them.
My iPod is brand new 15 GB version and I can have the firmware updated from my office PC which is a Win2K, USB 1.1 PC. However I am not yet ready to upgrade my Win98SE PC at home.
Also if anyone is on the same situation as me, please post for moral support.
