Ok. A few weeks ago my ipod started acting stupid...it was skipping songs and freezing. so i did what i thought i should do and called the apple hotline. the man told me to completely empty my ipod of all its music and reset it. I did this and then i encountered another problem. When i plug in my ipod (5 gig) to the computer with the firewire chord it won't do anything. When i tell it to synchronize and transfer the library to the portable device it says "operation complete" without even doing anything. sometimes a browser that says IPOD (:F) even pops up with two files inside that say Calendars and Contacts. How can i stop this? i don't want it to synchronize it with my contacts and calendars, i want the ipod to synchronize with my MUSIC! why is it doing this and how can it be fixed??? So after hours of trying to figure this thing out i try switching the firewire port. Just when i think it is working again it transfers 2 random songs from my library onto my ipod, stops, and says Operation Complete. grrr
