Hello,

I recently lost the firewire extension that came with my 2G model, and I was wondering if I could get a semi-new/new extension. I'm not sure what these are valued at, so perhaps we could just negotiate. Please leave your email if possible, or send me an e-mail at sbrenes@sbcglobal.net Thanks!

If you are talking about the firewire cable that goes from the ipod to the computer or from the Ipod to the charger you can pick them up at any computer store or maybe even Wal-Mart. They are standard 6 pin Firewire cables. They arent cheap $15-$20 a cheaper option would be to get one off of Ebay like this...

True, but I would like to replace the firewire "extension" piece, to go with the iPod and such. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

Are you talking about replacing the Firewire with USB? If so that is impossible because the two platforms are not interchangable... But if you just need a new cord that goes between the ipod and charger or the ipod and the computer then that auction is the same as the auction that I posted... all you need is a IEEE 1394 (firewire) cord that has 6 pin conections on each end
