Iskin and Itrip compatabilty

I have these two items comming in the post
Will the two fit together?
Most reviews say dey dont?
What should i do?

This is my ghost ipod iskin being cut up :P
After thinkin about it i used the same design as the bottom and on my sister i made it just a flap.
Itrip fits and top is proteced.
