I am from the UK, I recently bought the brand new design ipod, after selling the older 10 gig model. I was under the impression that my new purchase, the new ipod 20-gig would last me another few years before becoming outdated. I purchased one of the first to arrive in this country, once again to ensure that I would have an up-to date model for at-least the next couple of years. To my horror you have just released the new ipod photo, aprox one month after getting my new ipod. I am very upset by this as the new ipod photo looks great, with some real advancing solutions for a traveller, which is what I am planning on doing for the next 12 months or so. So my question is this, why do you bring out a new product then update them within a very short period of time, and not warn people that a new updated product at a slightly higher price will be hitting the market soon, this is just talking advantage of people, which is why I usually don't like to deal with Microsoft, but it looks like apple are going the same way. Cashing in and deceiving there customers at every given opportunity. I am going to get in-touch with some reporters and possibly TV programs to bring this subject to peoples attention, as I do honestly believe apple have deceived me. Just to show what a great customer I have been to Apple over the years, here's a list of a few of my apple products.
POWERBOOK G4 SUPERDRIVE, ISIGHT, IPOD, AIRPORT EXTREME. And a few more thing on top of that, I don't think you should be annoying good loyal customers like myself, as I am considering not buying any more Apple products. What makes this situation even worse is the fact that I have turned several of my friends to apple products and convinced them the new ipod would be a great purchase, here are some items I have arranged for my friends to buy. 2 x 12" powerbook, 1 x 15.2" powerbook, 1 x 15" iMac, 1 x 17" iMac, 4 x iSight and most recently 3 x 20 gig ipod. All my friends who have purchased the new iPod are very disappointed at the quickness of apple to release a significantly improved iPod so soon after there new purchase. I would appreciate a quick response to this e-mail, and I hope apple don't try to brush off the upset that many of there customers are experiencing.
