ipod photo /podcasting - Lets create stories/travel guides for it [audio/pictures]

Hello,

Along with podcasting why not add pictures to the mix? So the audio programs downloaded won't just be audio, but also have a 'slide show' story.

Or authors could create mini books.

This would be specially cool with the Soundwalk titles they have (check audible for them) have little pictures of the area along with the travel guide.

Good idea ?

FlickR I believe has RSS feeds you can "podcast"

though that just loads images, no sound. you woulud have to select th eplaylist manually then view the pictures.

the ipod software at this stage i don't think would support something like this (without a firmware update of course).

knowing apple though something like that would come in a new ipod generation as opposed to updating current ipods.

apple used this as an example a use in education:

"Creating an Audio Guide" with photos, and it has examples, and how-to info for this.
