USB2 Cable Questions

As I understand, the iPod USB/Firewire cable allows you to synch and recharge at the same time since the firewire extension can be connected to the AC.

Is it possible then to recharge the iPod in the dock while your PC is turned off?

And for those that have the USB cable, what are your opinions of it? Does it work well?

Hi,

I have the USB cable and it works fine. Have not had a single problem with it. You use the firewire portion in the plug adapter to charge it.

Speeds are awesome. About 6 minutes for 1400 songs using MC9

My opinion, go with the USB cable

You can't charge the iPod while docked (and the dock connected to the PC) if your PC is off...
