Okay, i know this cd is about 2 years and some odd days old but who here thinks Christina Aguilera's album, Stripped, could be in the TOP 100 best albums for 2000-2004?
This album is full of sass, funk, pop, r&b, soul, heart, passion with Latina influence and spanish guitar. Ahh i love it! Anyway vote here and then post!!!!!!

Ya ok buddy, I'm not going to law school, plus just because you make money doesn't mean your smart. If you were trying to rap you really suck, now dress like a normal person and stop whereing eckO and trying to be gangsta and black.

I'm going to semi-agree.

eckO you have recommended Avirl Lavinge, and several other poor artists.

Have you heard any of them live? For instance heres Ashlee Simpson live. (http://wnou.com/av/audio/billyandmarco/ashlee_pieces_of_me.mp3) The song is pieces of me, live.

Now please tell me how you can support these artists, when ALL OF THEIR VOICE AND TALENT IS IN PRODUCTION??

Haha enjoilax is on my side now theres no way we can lose :-D. Dude I didn't mean to diss you, but I read another one of your posts saying you like Hillary Duff and whatever. I don't even want to go into it, but if you like them I guess it's ok but its kind of not exploring all the options.

Here's some advice eckO, try listening to a band thats not on MTV's TRL countdown. Did you know that this sort of music exists? Well, my distasteful friend, it's called quality music. Go and buy a CD of quality music, you may be initially surprised by the use of instruments and skill in their songs, but don't worry, this is a good thing. And by the way, you aren't a tough gangster, you own an iPod. You do not have a hard life living in the ghetto or hear gunshots every night. Stop trying to look tough with crappy gangster brand names.

Haha really, anyone who owns an iPod isn't poor. I know some people that are like lower middle class but, still they deffinately aren't living in Cabreenie Green or whatever.

Avril is my favorite, okay? She's really cool, and I think she might skateboard, which is totally punk-rock-emo-kewl, and I love her, and I want her to marry me because she has such musical talent. I mean, did you see her eye shadow? It's so heavily laid on, she must be cool! Even the guys from Around the Horn on ESPN think her music is good! I'm up for it!

Seriously, I want to meet the girl that kissed Thom Yorke (Not Rachel, his girlfriend) because any girl that loves Radiohead that much and surpasses my love will be ultra mega cool in my book. The only thing is that it's REALLY gross to have traded spit with Thom Yorke. Ugh. That's freakin' nasty.

Quite honestly, this whole thread is a joke with the exception of the starting post. Personally, I can't stand Britany, Christina, Hillary, Avril, and the rest of pop-chick lot, but that's beside the point. People should be able to post an opinion/question here regarding the type of music THEY like without everybody else jumping in their grill and personally insulting them for their taste or lack there of. Not that I don't appreciate a good music debate but when somebody poses a question regarding an artist or album and the responces are nothing but personal attacks and claims that the artist/album is "crap", etc... it's just pointless and weak. Give a legit, intelligent opinion or zip it.

Just my take.

hahahahahahahahahahahaha christina????? good music??? same sentence??? hahahahahahaha

Someone go buy him a muse album, on the double!!
seriously tho, i know i'm rippin it out of your taste, but i don't pounce around making polls about music bands i like. Hate to join in on the bandwagon, but its seriously needed.

If your'e a girl, i'd understand, but i don't know.

Ecko, all I have to say to you is YHBTM!!!!!

Wait, I lied. You said that you have the right to your opinion (your music). Then you go on saying since when did we get the right to label people. Labeling people is simply saying having OPINIONS about them. So you kinda think you have the right to opinion and we don't.

Labeling someone is making an assumption about someone. An opinion is a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter. An opinion of someone is different than labeling them. As a matter of fact, its rude. You should be respectful of other iPodloungers. :)
